Job Title Sr. Engineer / Asst. Manager – Electrical/Mechanical Design
Vacancy Open For Sr. Engineer / Asst. Manager – Electrical/Mechanical Design
Location Mysore
   
Principal Accountabality
  • Prepare and check Electrical/Mechanical design of product and ensure its conformity with specifications and      standards
  • Design & Development of new products
  • Prepare and obtain required approvals for engineering information prior to release for manufacturing
  • Reduce design errors through corrective actions
  • Prepare, update and support the project execution engineering activities in the schedule with emphasis on;
         On-time delivery, Quality of deliverables and cost
  • Conduct design review, verification and validation
  • Standardize and computerize design process to reduce throughput time for generating documents for
         manufacturing
  • Perform technical, cost savings, and constructability reviews of design packages from internal engineering,
         outsourced sub-contractor engineering and equipment factories
  • Be abreast with latest technological developments in the industry

    Managerial/Technical Qualities
  • The incumbent should have graduation in Electrical/Mechanical with 2+ years of experience in Gas Insulated      Switchgear Design.
  • Responsible for the coordination and execution of all engineering disciplines for medium-voltage and
         high-voltage Gas Insulated Switchgear (GIS)
  • To co-ordinate with the Marketing & Production teams in meeting the projected business plans
  • Must be familiar with the nuances associated with designing Gas Insulated Switchgear  (GIS)
  • Should possess strong leadership qualities.

    Experiance Required 2-5 years
    Education Level Graduates Or Post Graduates
    Education Qualification

    BE (Electrical/Mechanical)
    Experiance Area Design
    Nature Of Experiance Design
    Other Qualification Preferred BE.
