Responsible for complete engineering function of the products to be manufactured in plant.
Work in close coordination with the functional heads for smooth & trouble free operations and achieving team targets.
Plan and ensure accurate and timely release of engineering information for manufacturing to achieve planned targets.
Plan and ensure continual improvement by use of standardization, value engineering and variety reduction.
Ensure the material content is optimal for product manufacturing to maximize the profits.
Plan & implement latest technological improvements decisions taken.
Share with other plants the technological improvement decisions for uniformity.
Provide support to marketing function in order booking.
Be abreast with the technological developments in the industry.
Plan and Strive for achieving better market positions.
Be abreast with competitors and their strategy in offering products in market.
Train, lead and motivate personnel and build performing teams.
Identify potential areas for growth.
Ensure management of functions as per the systems and procedures.
Ensure efficient use of departmental resources
